Reports to the Community
In addition to participating in regular meetings across all sectors of the community, the Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation also periodically creates more formal snapshots of the work of the Foundation to share our story both with the County and across the state and region.
Most recently, as we chart the Foundation's direction for the next 5-7 years, we invited community members and key partners to help shape a shared vision for Muhlenberg County by sharing their ideas through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. We asked a simple set of questions: What ideas do you have to strengthen our community? What needs attention? And what opportunities can we help create for the people who call Muhlenberg home? With input from over 600 community members, we hope that our 2026 Community Survey Report will help community leaders across many sectors to craft a shared vision for the community.
For more information about our recent work and grantmaking on the ground in Muhlenberg County, we are also sharing our most recent report to the Community released in July 2025. The report gives a high level overview of some of the $2.9 million distributed in FY2025 to strengthen Muhlenberg County. Whether families are visiting a local park, attending a theatre performance, taking their child to a preschool literacy event, or gaining workforce credentials, families are enjoying Foundation investments designed to reach and uplift every corner of Muhlenberg County.
In the Foundation's 2024-2025 Annual Report to the Community, you’ll find examples of projects from strategically directed across the Foundation’s five focus areas - Community Development & Quality of Place, Quality Education and Training, Economic Development, Community Engagement & Collaboration, and Health & Human Services.
